Apparently that is what Word press tells you when you start your blog! I know this because recently many friends of mine have started blogging~! and I feel like a newbie in blogging……….. I miss blogging, I am now tired of Facebook and mighty glad am not on twitter! I somehow like the anonymity of blogging, mostly because  I don’t get as much TMI in blogging as I do on facebook. I think I will get back to regular blogging, on condition that the joke blog is gone and that dude who used to scan nation articles on politics

So END OF YEAR is here, and I can tell you for free that I have hated 2009. It has been the worst year of my entire life. I should confess that except for the fact that am alive, nothing good has happened this year. And that makes me sad. This year I have lost touch with many of my friends, and I haven’t made many new friends this year! isnt it sad? On the other hand, I have drastically reduced the amount of alcohol that I consume- am sure that is a good thing, but to me its a sign that a have no social life!

Ok this post is too mourney so I will stop right now and wait to get my blog mojo back, and hope that people will come back soon…..Now tell me what you want for Christmas and I will send it to you

The other day someone asked if Zain customer care work for Safaricom. And I have come to the sad albeit justified conclusion that this is true, they do indeed work for safcom. For the last couple of months I have been having the worst experience with these guys and am not amused. The worst part is that I have a contract with them and much as they have broken their contract with me, am still too cowardly to break mine with them.

There is something about their customer care service that makes you feel stupid and bothersome. And its both the phone CC and the walk in shops! All their managers seem to be taken for a special training where they are taught to stare blankly at customers while telling them how much they understand their predicament but don’t really give a toss about helping them.  They will explain something to you like you really are  two years old and then proceed to make you feel like a two year old throwing an unwarranted tantrum!

They are worse than the government about conflicting information. You will talk to one person who will tell you that you should get a refund, while another one tells you in no uncertain terms that you are not entitled to a refund. And please do not make the mistake of saying “but I was told by this other people that I was entitled to a refund” everything else will be abandoned in pursuit of who told you such a nice thing and why is such a nice person still working at Zain?

So if you ever have the need to go visit their CC, this is what they really think about your presence in their shops:

1. You really are too stupid/crazy/annoying/time wasting… basically just go away
2. You may have bought the product from us but hey, we did not manufacture it so why are you bothering us with its malfunctioning?
3. You may be the customer but you are infact not always right- actually at no point in this entire conversation will you be right.
4. We are customer care, which means we infact do care, just not about customers and especially not about you.
5. What is wrong with lying to you? Why are you being so sensitive about it? We have been in this business much longer than you have been dissatisfied with us, so nye!.

But I must mention that there is one lady who is EXCELLENT. She knows her job and is very helpful. But If I say her name she really may be fired – they don’t like nice people there.

Oh well, we do put up with a lot of crap…

1. I have discovered that am easily manipulated and can follow the crowd quiet easily unless its something I feel very strongly about.

2. I am no longer a feminist. I believe in women’s rights but would no longer go out of my way to for example participate in a women’s rights crusade or parade or conference. Sadly I believe that women are our own enemies and do not practice what we preach.  I have witnessed too many women being abusive and  cruel to other men, women and children. I also  believe that women bosses are worse than men bosses at least the ones I have had.

3. I don’t believe in marriage, televangelists, life after death, that there is good in all of us. I am a cynic and dont trust things at face value

4. Bad things really do happen to good people and bad people do prosper.  But karma always comes around.

5. I am highly opinionated. Have a whacky, dry and sometimes rude and offensive sense of humour.

6. I detest boring people, show offs and braggats.

7. I believe everyone has a right to their sexuallity and that the law/state  should not legislate who gets to sleep with whom as long as everyone involved (hopefully 2 people) are of sound mind, willing and of legal age.

8. I am addicted to football, cigarrettes, TV, Sex, Dlisted, Facebook, internet, novels

9.  I used to believe that I come off as easy to get along with but apparently I scare many people. Am not sure if its my face, ama ni sura ya kazi but there you go!
