Focus On the Family Pull moronic “Prayer for rain” Video

This story annoyed me so much I had to crawl from under my rock to reconcile albeit briefly with my blog.
Anyway, apparently some Director over at Focus on the family recorded a video asking xtians to pray for rain on 28th August 2008. Which is the day Obama is supposed to address the Democrats convention! WTFH…What sort of christianity is that? and he specifies what sort of rain it should be and the amount! Me thinks he misunderstood that “make it rain” song

I remember when I was young we were told that prayers asking for bad things to happen to other people will not be answered!

See I support Obama for one and only one reason: He is black, Period. I dont think his presidency will do anything for Kenya. It will not add the sufurias of ugali in our houses (Moi 2003) But Still Praying for bad things to happen will is a tard silly.
Focus on the family claimed it was meant to be a spoof but after mob protests they did remove the clip.. but this is the internet, there is always evidence and the damage had been done!

On a lighter note CNN informs us that Obama had a 4 star meal during his vacation in Hawai, which happened to be his 2nd four star meal since he arrived! SMH at CNN can we import some fighting kajoras to give them something to report?

*looks around, tip toes away and crawls back under the rock*

I to was taught that prayers are answered according to motive behind them. So wanting bad things to happen to others does not work.

Where is this rock of yours I come excavate you?

Glad you’re back. Bwana some people make me question my Christian faith. Think we should have a crusade against Christian extremists . Oh, Obama is supposed to be a black muslim guy.

good that you are back blogging. isn’t praying for something evil to happen a sin?

I stay away from discussing CNN – the US version is entertainment ONLY!

    cheers

Washindwe kabisa!!! That’s why I’m all for separation from Church and state both here in Kenya and the rest of the world. Clergy have no business poking their noses into politics.

I agree, Obama will not add ugali to my plate but I’m damn proud of him. To me, he’s a true symbol of unity black-white-muslim
Like he says ‘ we’re not a black America, a white America,we’re the United States of America’. I meant ‘they’, but I had to quote that.

    Haya, next post tafadhali!

That person’s prayers had a wrong motive- ill for another person.

American Christians should stop being so self righteous. Even the republicans are not much better. Whoever wins – guess what will be God’s plan for the US!

Wow, this self righteousness is just as disgusting as the frequent personal attacks in politics
